‘Crocodile’ comes from the ambient, expressive mind of The Dawdler. Subtle yet cinematic in texture, the track lulls you into a sense of calm serenity through delicate guitars and an airy lead vocal, but deep, dark strings and thudding drums add a layer of uncertainty and tension. Lyrically, The Dawdler (real name John Edgar) explains that ‘Crocodile’ is “based on a dream.
